I started buying acne cream from drug store when I first discovered them in Walmart. I started out with a starter kit that is very similar to Proactive. It is called Acne Free and comes with a 4-ounce bottle of cleanser, a 4-ounce bottle of toner, and a2-ounce bottle of lotion. I only spent less than 20 dollars on this Kit because it had a promotion. It claims to see result as little as three days and has clinical study to back it up. I remembered the first week I used it, I thought it really worked well, but my skin felt very very dry after applying its lotion. I had to apply another layer of lotion to keep my skin moist. Although this skin care kit is made for everyday usage, I really can’t see myself using them everyday. Sometimes it would cause redness and irritation as well.
I later switched to use it every other day….and eventually abandoned the whole kit. I don’t want to have pimples on my skin, but skin also feels too thirty! However, I did found something useful from this kit. They gave out a free acne spot terminator with this kit. Since I usually have pimple around my chin or cheek, I used this spot terminator on my blemish.
