“Apple Computers announced today that it has developed a computer chip that can store and play music in women’s breast implants. The iBoob will cost between $499 and $599. This is considered to be a major breakthrough because women are always complaining about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them. Thanks to Apple, everyone is now happy.”

Apple is always one step ahead of the game, finding solutions to everyone’s problem. If you think $499-$599 is a bit steep, take into consideration that marriage counciling costs about $100 per session with series of at least 10 sessions. That’s already $1000 that you may or may not see results in. However, the iBoob provides that cheaper, more entertaining solution… PLUS, results are immediate and it’s a one time cost.

The cost of the iBoob is definitely reasonable. However, just like the iPhone, they get you on the “extra” things. The iPhone, yes it came cheap. But what good is an iPhone without the give-me-your-arm-and-a-leg service plan fee? Similarly, the iBoob, though very fairly priced, does not come with the implants. Implants cost between $2000-$3000, which is still worth the money but it makes the pricing a little less of a steal.

I’m also not clear on how you control the volume, change the tune, or turn it on and off (though, I’m pretty sure all the fellas out there can figure out how to turn things on and off real easy - suggestions?)

Other reported upcoming inventions include a revolutionary product geared more for men, the iRection. Again, I am not clear on the details of that one so if anyone has pointers, please fill in the blanks here.

For those of you who are skeptical about Apple’s new product lines, are too cheap to make a great investment, or are grandpas and don’t know how those cunfunnit contraptions work, stick to the known and get an iPod.

Damn, those are some pretty awesome costumes. Though, Borat could have stood to be a little furrier.

Last year was full of great costumes from movies like The Simpsons, obviously Borat and Transformers, Spiderman, Fantastic 4, Pirates of the Carribbean, Harry Potter, Shrek, Bratz, Ghost Rider, and others. It’s going to be interesting to see what comes out this year. I’m banking for sure on Batman and Joker costumes! Let’s get creative with 2008!

I have a sore throat, I’m extremely exhausted (though I’ll suck it up when I’m around people because no one likes a downer), I’m on and off congested and can’t breathe, and as to not get so graphical with my could-be illness, let’s just say I’m sick and feel like crap.

However, unless I’m absolutely dying, I will come to work. That’s right. I’m one of those that gets everyone else in the office sick. Misery loves company, right? I’d like to believe I’m just dedicated though. I have my own goals and if I allow myself to lounge around at home in my PJs, you can bet I’m not going to be productive. Anyways, looking for a quick fix, I turned to Theraflu.

Theraflu works wonders.
I drank the Theraflu tea as soon as I got home from work. About an hour later, I felt a whole lot better.

Pros: It’s a quick fix. It doesn’t cure everything but it makes you feel a whole lot better. It comes in many different flavors (I tried the lemon one) and many different varieties from capsules to teas. I went for the tea because it seemed the least medicinal. I hate taking medicine! Also, it didn’t make me drowsy, bloated, or any of those other nasty things other medicines make you feel after taking it.

Cons: OMG, it tastes so nasty. The tea does NOT go down easy. It tastes like you’re drinking a whole cup of medicine and it leaves an after taste in your mouth! EWWW! Maybe it works because you have to drink three cups of water to every cup of tea you drink. That’s a lot of liquid that would for sure flush out whatever it is you have. Maybe the capsules would have been a better way to go… or maybe the lemon flavor was just not tasty at all.

Does Theraflu work? Well, I’m at work, and not at home sleeping and I feel decent enough to be writing a post about it’s seeming-to-be success. I’ll post if I take a turn the other way. But for now, I give it my thumbs up.

Love the way they look? Get a little bit of Sparkle Motion style. Here’s how:

1. White frame sunglasses. Whether it be just for style points or to shield your eyes from all that sparkle, the white frames are a must have!

2. Bad a$$ t-shirts. “You Can’t Touch This” and “I’m Bad” are merely understatements here. However, if you’ve gotta wear it, wear it loud and wear it proud.

3. Headbands and wristbands. The look isn’t complete without your accessories. Besides, this team is so hot (it’ll make you sweat) that these particular accessories are dual purposed. It’s a fashion statement as well as a functional neccessity - to keep that sweat off your brows.

4. Sweat pants. Dress from head to toe in Sparkle Motion sexiness. Just don’t forget to roll that pant leg!

I looked up the nutrition facts of the pie I ate.  A Marie Callender’s pumpkin pie has a whopping 3,037 calories in it. Check out the breakdowns:

In an effort to prevent all of that from going straight to my derriere, I decided to go swimming. I swam for about half an hour, doing 12 laps (half freestyle, half breaststroke) in my 25 yard pool? I gave myself a pat on the back thinking I had done a decent job.

WRONG! If I ate a whole pumpkin pie and gained 3,037 calories, weighing a little under 100 lbs. (so I rounded up), according to this fitness calculator, I would have needed to swim a total of 6 hours… and that would be 6 hours of VIGOROUS swimming. I’m no Michael Phelps and for me to do six hours of swimming… well…. let’s just say good thing I only really accomplished eating half of my pie thus my needing to swim vigorously for - YAY - only three hours!

There are other excercises you can do that burn more calories within that same hour time frame. Running seems to be a sure fire way to burn it off. Especially running up stairs. Get a stairmaster and watch a movie while excercising. It makes it go by much faster.

I’m definitely not discouraging eating entire pies, in fact, I say do it! However, be prepared to roll up your sleeves for a hard days worth of working out.

I wonder how many calories you burn riding ponies.

The best way to bring out the tennis pro in you is to practice, practice, and practice. However, whenever I play, it seems like I’m playing a game of fetch rather than tennis. So do I regret my purchase? Not at all! There are a million reasons why the iPod touch is so fantabulous. So let me lay it out for you:

Why I love my iPod Touch:

1. iTunes is easy to use with it’s drag and drop interface so you can get music from the iTunes store, you can pull music from wherever you saved it on your computer, you can hook your iPod up to your friends computer and take their music, and while you’re doing all that, it charges your iPod too!
2. iLOVE the touch screen. I’m a toucher. It saves me from having to deal with those touch sensitive wheels and whatnot of the other iPods. Also, for dummies like me, I don’t have to figure out what button does what… you just touch the screen. End of story.
3. It displays album covers and I can scroll through all my albums very easily.
4. It remembers what songs I played and how many times I played it and keeps track of that so I can give another song more love if its not getting enough.
5. It has a sick amount of memory. I can load up all my music and still have room for a few movies. Awesome! That’s perfect for my five hour plane ride from California to Hawaii. Then I’m not forced to watch weirdo movies.
6. It alphabetizes my songs/albums/whatever on the side so I don’t have to scroll through everything all over again. I just have to click the letter and it shortcuts me to that.
7. I can access the internet on my phone. WOOT. YouTube in my pocket. Who WOULDN’T enjoy that? I can check my email, I can stalk people, I can browse websites and pretty much work it how I would on a very mini computer. the only thing that isn’t cool is that the keybaord is small and skinny so when my fat fingers try to touch just one thing, it touches multiple keys at the same time. UGH. That’s a little frustrating.

Here’s how we should all enjoy the fine products of Apple:

As much as I love my iPod Touch, I can’t vouch for the iPhone. I have a contract with Verizon so unfortumately, I don’t even have the option of getting the iPhone. However, if you want to know more about the iPhone, this guy has some pretty strong thoughts on it. Read Mr. iPhone’s blog here.

If you already have an iPod Touch, show it some love and accessorize. I bought mine a clear silicone skin. Protect your $300 baby!

If you plan on hitting the road with your iPod, it might also be a good idea to look into the iTrip.

So here’s what I love about my moto Q:

1. It’s skinny and fits in my purse very well.
2. It’s got a nicely laid out QWERTY keyboard on it.
3. Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie” is downloaded on it… or actually, on my memory card that I inserted into it. The memory card thing is great. I can go from my phone, to computer, and sync things up… and it’s like carrying around a flash drive… but not.
4. It can take pictures and videos (which is something my POS flip phone couldn’t)
5. The scrolling and quick back buttons on the side of the phone make it so I can drive and talk. But that’s illegal in California now so I think I’ve gotta get myself some kinda device that lets me talk while in the car. I came across this post with some great solutions for that dilema which you can read here.
6. The screen is nice and big… and clear.
7. Picks up reception very well. Better than my old verizon phone that’s for sure!

But despite all those great things about it, there’s a few things that bug me about it.

1. LAGGY!!! Transitioning from one page to the next on the internet is laggy. Loading features is laggy. Switching ringtones or scrolling through to find a cool ringtone is laggy. Adding contacts is laggy. You name it, it LAGS!
2. It doesn’t have as many features as most other phones have now.
3. My speaker phone is shoddy. Very important to have since this is currently how I talk while driving.

This is why I want to try out the Blackberry. It’s definitely not as sexy as the Moto Q… or at least that’s what I think… but I think the features outweigh its ugliness. I read this alternative to iphones blog that convinced me that the blackberry might be the way to go.

Also, doesn’t owning a Blackberry just look fun?

You can have anywhere from one to four players with different modes of playing. The new Wii version of Smash Brothers is pretty much the same as the Game Cube version but they’ve introduced a handful of new characters, stages, music, special weapons, and more. There are about 30 characters to choose from - lots of familiar faces from all your favorite video games including Kirby, Link, Mario, Wario, Mr. Game and Watch, Pokemon, and more. In the Wii version, you are also able to build your own stages that you can play.

Another great thing about Super Smash Bros for the Wiis is that you can either use the Wii controllers or the old Game Cube controllers. I have an easier time with the Game Cube controllers because I feel like you have mroe control and the characters are more manuverable because you have the joystick. However, the choice is always nice to have.

The great thing about this game is that everyone can play it. It isn’t so complicated that kids are dissinterested yet there is still a challenge for those more experienced video gamers.
