So today has just been extremely hot, I bet if you lived here your balls would be sweating too. Any way, as I was talking down the street, I saw a coyote cross my path. This being a rare event, I followed it. You know what that smart little bugger did? He roamed the street, found a store that had an open cooler, and the sucker jumped in to cool off!
It sucks that I did not have my camera to shoot this event — it would have made a great photo.
I suppose that they ended up calling animal services or something. I did not stay long enough to find out as I needed to be some where but that was just such a great thing to witness.
Oh, I also saw a cyclopic toad of all things. I mean, okay, it had both eyes, but one eye was mutated so it was closer to the center of its head. But you know what? If you looked at it the right way it looked like a cyclops toad. So I caught it, killed it, skinned it, and now I am leaving it out to dry so I can have cyclops toad jerky. I bet it is going to be like frog and taste like chicken…
