Skiiers and snowboarders rejoice, it’s almost time to hit the mountains again after half a year of heat and sun! Before any great season begins, you can count on Ski Dazzle, a large snow entertainment expo to tour around the country so that you can hit the slopes with gear and in style. Last year, I attended Ski Dazzle at the LA Convention center and thought it was great! I am not the best snowboarder, but almost found myself buying a board on the spot. Everything there was at least 50% off and that includes boards. I also learned what Burton was and got a glimpse of the Burton boards and Burton gear. Did you know they make a snowboarding jacket that is able to play your iPod music on it via Bluetooth?
Instead I bought a pair of gloves, but this year, I might get a whole set including jacket and pants (I’m tired of snowboarding in my sweats!). Quite possibly the best part of going to Ski Dazzle though is that all attendees always get a free ski lift pass to a near by slope. For LA residents, it’s usually at Big Bear, a place I have frequented in the past.
Anyways, for anyone that is considering having fun in the snow this year, I strongly recommend checking out Ski Dazzle. Even if you don’t plan on buying anything, you’ll learn a lot and get really psyched for the cold days forth coming!
