The sun is a wonderful thing. How can you not love a great big ball of gas that provides us with light, heat, food, and electricity? If the sun were an olympic swimmer, it would be Michael Phelps. If it were a politician, it would be Obama. And if it could sing, it would surely have the voice of Chelsea Williams.
But perfection is the province of only God (and maybe Obama). The sun is not all lollipops and rainbows; too much of it can cause skin cancer.
Well, sort of. Too much of the damaging UV light is what causes the cancer, but our skin can actually benefit from some of the wavelengths. But I’ll tell you what’s uebercool. There is a way to separate the harmful UV from the skin-therapeutic wavelengths that rejuvenate skin and treat common skin disorders like fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage. The best thing about this is the innovation it shows of taking something that is “bad” and turning it around into something “good”. To me that is the absolute essence of being environmental in our world today.
