The world is changing. There are 7 billion of us here. Resources run scarce. Pollution increases. Health is at risk. The poor get poorer. Optimist that I am, I don’t think things aren’t going in the right direction.
So what can we do about it? We can talk to our congressperson. We can reduce, reuse, and even recycle. But as consumers, we are, well, consumers. It is what we consume and how we consume that drives our economy…an economy that values resources and consequences only in the short term.
In this blog, I’m trying (we’ll see if I can stay focused) to give some tips and tricks to you as a consumer to buy things that are at least easier on the environment.
