The printer in my office - the Konica Minolta Magicolor 5570 - is a real workhorse. It churns out copy after copy of documents. I feel it is the perfect machine for meeting office printing requirements as it can print an impressive 37 black and white pages or 31 color pages per minute. Our office makes heavy use of the printer and so far this machine has managed to meet all our requirements. I checked out the specs online and was amazed to find that it has a duty cycle of 120,000 pages per month. With a resolution of 9600 x 600 dpi (– class Photo ART contone), the prints are of the finest quality. The best part is that it really does not waste any time even for the first printout (14 seconds when it is in idle state). No wonder this printer has become the lifeline of our office.

Today’s digital age has changed the way we all work. For example, take the case of any office, most of the important documents are maintained in electronic form and we all interact through emails and chats. But I guess we cannot completely do without paper, and hence we need printers, copiers, and so on. My office is a small one with a couple of dozen people working together. A fortnight ago, a new printer, HP LaserJet 3050 arrived in my office and got me curious, after all, this printer came with a reputation of being better than the last one. Well, two weeks have passed and I must say it has been worth having this new printer; it does all – print, scan, copies and faxes as well, all with better efficiency than the last one. Printing is quick and the quality of the prints and the copies is simply amazing – crisp, clear, and sharp, though what’s missing is color printing. However, this all-in-one office machine is able to perform color scans and we have connected it with the system through the USB port (Hi-Speed). The standard features like the auto – document feeder and so on are also present. Overall, everyone in my office is pretty happy with its performance.

Printing has been a tedious task for me as my previous printer gave me a lot of problems. The prints were unacceptably light and dull. So, I had to spend a lot of money on my stationery and consumables. Moreover, the printer almost weighed a ton! So to say. Being an English teacher by profession in a nursery school for almost a decade, I have to constantly prepare colorful pictorial charts for my fellow students so that it helps them learn faster, smarter.

I was looking for that perfect printer with fewer hassles and within my budget. Finally, when I chanced upon the Desktop Factory 125ci 3D printer. It is light (weighs just 90lbs), requires lesser room space in my study room, and is surprisingly cheap! Moreover, it prints beautifully. Furthermore, I must admit the ventilation in my study room is simply bad.
