I love playing games.  I don’t usually spend much money on myself except gaming.  I actually spent a lot of money upgrading memories and graphic cards for my computer.  When my girlfriend goes to mall shopping, I don’t mind being left alone in gaming stores checking out new games out in the market.  Nothing gets me more excited than the release of a new game that I have been waiting on. There are many nights I stay up till 6AM to finish my games.  I mostly play PC games.  I know a lot of people make fun of guys spending time gaming at home.  But video games have become much cooler, and the industry has grown bigger and bigger.  More and more games are made into movies, or more movies are being made into games.  Some movies did very well, but others failed. Resident Evil is considered pretty successful and already has three installments.  Tomb Raider is also another successful case, but it is probably because of Angelina Joie’s sex appeal, not due to a great plot.

One film I am waiting is Halo the movie.  But Creativity Online snagged an interview with the movie’s director, Neill Blomkamp, and he admitted the film is dead. I was truly disappointed.  Is there hope for the Halo movie after all? Turned out in April, there are some A-list Hollywood screenwriter plan to rewrite scripts.  Hollywood screenwriter Stuart Beattie (Pirates of the Caribbean, G.I. Joe) is a huge fan of Halo is one of the screenwriting and is currently talking to Microsoft about the potential of bringing this vision to the big screen. I truly hope this video game will be made into big screen!
