* Spray on sunscreen (for some reason, I have a glowy tan with a little shine to it whenever I use spray on sunscreen. It looks great and makes you look like you’re tanned and toned - more toned, that is - and just went for a swim)

And if you want to be a bit more comical or metaphorical, you can just get yourself a mermaid costume since, after all, Michael Phelps is half man half fish!

Yes, her outfit can be summed up in those two words - literally. Her ill fitting eyelet shirt dress isn’t as much of a blunder as is her holed up leggings. If she wore that in her hit movie “Mean Girls” that outfit would definitely put her in the slam book.

Maybelline Minerals Power Collection III

So I was in the market for mineral concealer. After using acne spot treatment sticks for so long, I started noticing my skin would get flaky if I use these sticks too much on my healing acne spots. So I had to switch to something milder and wouldn’t cause clogging of my poor skin. I tried a concealer from Sephora, and it works pretty well. It blends in my skin tone well without me putting any foundation. I also tried using raw mineral powder to cover my red spots, but it did a pretty bad job. I would have to apply foundation to cover my red spot, and then apply the loose powder on it.

Yes, it is happening! Diesel is celebrating its 30^th birthday on Oct 10, and 17 Diesel stores are participating sales for a limited edition jean in store or online. The sales doesn’t apply to their regular priced jeans but their special “thirty dirty” jeans only. Diesel jeans are loved by denim lovers around the world. I had few crazy friends asked me to help them buy 300 dollars a pair of Diesel jean and ship them back to Asia. For this limited edition Diesel jean, 50 dollars is totally worthy. However, the store opens at 10AM and supplies are limited. I wouldn’t be surprised if some hardcore Diesel fans stand in line early to get their sizes. Good luck to you Diesel fans!

Tip #26: Gas Saving Cheapness

Increased gas prices this year made our nation very conscience of how significant gasoline has been to our budgets and lives. Realizing our energy dependence, some of us tried alternative transportation and nifty ways to lower this dependence and cost.

Here are some tips on reducing your car’s traveling costs:

Buy gasoline at night or when it’s cool. Gas expands in the heat of the day, decreasing its density. Since gas pumps measure costs by volume not densities, buying gas when it’s hotter, costs you more.
An idle engine for one minute uses the same amount of gas when you start the engine. If your car won’t move for over a minute, turn off your engine.
Don’t rev your engine as it reduces oil pressure and wastes fuel.
Accelerate slowly from stops to maximize your carburetor’s efficiency. Your pedal should go down more than 1/4 of the way.
Don’t drive too fast. Driving at 55 mph is 21% more effective in your mileage than at 65 mph.
Stay clear from rough roads. Gravel roads can make you waste 30% of gas mileage.
Close your windows on the freeway. This will increase mileage efficiency by 10%.
Steady driving instead of slowing down and speeding up saves your brakes and gas.
